Cinematography (cin·e·ma·tog·ra·phy)
1. the art of making motion pictures.
It involves such techniques as the general composition of a scene; the lighting of the set or location; the choice of cameras, lenses, filters, and film stock; the camera angle and movements; and the integration of any special effects.
I started Writing/Directing and taking moving pictures back in the 80’s. I was brought up on Star Wars all the SciFi 80s movies and many iconic films including 2001: A Space Odyssey, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Blade Runner, Alien and so many more comedies, dramas and adventure films.

In 2018 I created my first short film – VADER: A Fan Film and learned about the process to create a film project. From writing, directing, producing, casting, location scouting, budget, crafty and editing – this was quite the learning curve. I was not formally trained in film production, so I had to learn through YouTube and books.
REAL. AGAIN.

In 2020 I wrote/directed/produced my first official short film – REAL. AGAIN. with a budget of $6k, cast of two and a crew of 10. This was my first time paying crew and I learned about the importance of budgeting and how it can affect the script in terms of what do I have the budget to shoot. I used a storyboard and short list for the first time which made production more manageable.

In 2021 I started investing in my equipment and added a Canon c300 and new Photography Lenses along with a Canon 90D for Photography. I shot several BTS Modeling Videos for awesome models in the North Texas area.
THE SECRET STAKE SOCIETY CHRONICLES

In 2021 I created The Secret Stake Society Chronicles TV Show concept and attend with the cast several Comic Conventions in North Texas. The show idea was a cross between Buffy, Blade, The Lost Boys and took inspiration from other Vampire films/shows. This was first attempt to write in TV Show format and build an episode.
